EDUCATION
Successful deal making requires both knowledgeable entrepreneurs and investors. Entrepreneur preparation for ACS2016 includes intense coaching and mentoring by RVC to prepare for the pitch. Investors will observe industry best practices in action. The mentoring team is lead by Denny Otsuga, an expert in the technology transfer and intellectual property commercialization field with vast experience in negotiating financial transaction.
EXECUTION
Leading up to ACS 2016, RVC does the “heavy lifting”, screening early stage companies and uncovering those with the greatest potential for success. Of 125 anticipated applications only 10% will make the cut. Mr. Otsuga also leads the screening team.
With a University Start Up Challenge RVC accepts 5 university applicants to pitch at ACS 2016.
